The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V motorcycle has successfully carved out a commercial place for itself in India. This bike, which debuted at a competitive price of INR 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom), combines performance and style in a way that makes it unique in its class.

The 163.2 cc, four-valve Hero Xtreme 160R 4V single-cylinder engine is air- and oil-cooled. This motorcycle has a smooth 5-speed transmission and generates 16.6 PS of power and 14.6 Nm of torque, making for a fun ride. The bike’s presence on the road, which draws attention wherever it travels, is one thing that strikes one’s eye right away. Comfortable riding is facilitated by the positioning of the shift paddles and the seating position, particularly on lengthy rides.

For two weeks, we would travel 50–60 kilometers each day to get from home to the business and the other way around. Although the clutch lever is a little higher than usual, which could cause some initial issues, you won’t find it bothersome if you get used to it. Overall, we thought the ride was comfortable. At higher speeds, there are some vibrations at the front of the bike.

The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V’s suspension system has an adjustable mono-shock with a seven-step preload in the back and KYB USD forks up front for a smoother, more silent ride. Although it requires some effort, our tests showed that the bike can achieve 116 kilometers per hour, which is faster than the company’s stated top speed of 115 mph.

This is where the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V excels: when cruising at 75 to 90 km/h. As you exceed 90 km/h, you will notice that the bike stays stable and your palm doesn’t vibrate too much. Because of the weight distribution, it offers a smooth ride even when cornering and total control over the bike at high speeds.
Our testing confirms Hero Motocorp’s claim that this is the fastest bike in the 160cc class. The bike took 5.24 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h when we tried to measure its acceleration time with a passenger.

Hazard signs were a standout feature on our winter travels, increasing security in cloudy situations. This useful innovation distinguishes the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V from other models in its class. Hero did a great job of integrating the hazard indicator into the bike, but it was something that people added on aftermarket.
To sum up, the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V is an appealing choice for anyone seeking a 160cc motorcycle with a little more flair, thanks to its impressive blend of power, style, and useful features.
