Maruti Jimny 5-Door Looks MACHO in Off-Roader Guise

The 5-door version of the Maruti Jimny has been enhanced digitally in this iteration. Jimny is about to be launched in the Indian market and Maruti has chosen the 5-door version because of the practicality it offers. Moreover, price-conscious Indian customers always look for a great value-for-money proposition. Although the prices of the Jimny will be announced closer to the launch, they are expected to be aggressive. Let us take a look at this enticing digital illustration until the launch.
On the sides, there are chunky off-roading high-profile tyres that are so broad that they extend out of the body, they are covered by prominent wheel arches making the SUV look like a wide body concept, there are side steps to enhance the ingress and egress of the passengers, there is a handy rooftop carrier for luggage while the sides are devoid of any creases. The rear profile features a boot lid-mounted spare tyre, horizontally positioned LED taillamps on the bumper and an upright stance.
The Jimny that will be launched pretty soon in India will come powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirate K15B petrol engine that generates a decent 104.8 PS and 134.2 Nm of peak power and torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Being a true off-roader, Maruti Suzuki offers its trademark ALLGRIP PRO 4×4 drivetrain with a low-range transfer case with a ground clearance of 210 mm. The prices will be announced at the launch.
